My design aesthetic is keen in my home. I love vintage pieces across the board. This means nothing as any time spent designing is helping
create jewelry with my super talented mother, the true designer. In early 2006, my mother launched C.B. Herrera, a haute jewelry line for the every day woman that loves to be fabulous and appreciates beauty.

Initially, I had no interest in the design aspect of my mother’s business, and only helped in sales and nationwide trunk shows. However, the more the line evolved, the more I became inspired by my travels and exposure to different art forms. I bring those inspirations to my mother’s DC studio and share them with her. I’m personally inspired by simplicity mixed with vintage and 20′s glamour.  The “Havana” Collection is a permanent collection I talked to my mother about and thought was appropriate to launch in homage to our native island. C.B. is at the helm of the company, but I love to help my mom, even remotely! Thank goodness for video chat and picture messaging!

A Spring and Winter line is created every year, with new inspiration, new looks and bigger goals every season. Her pieces have been seen on Vanna White, and of course I also wear distinct piecess when appearing on TV–even while cooking.

Because I love shoes as much as I love to entertain, who knows, I might end up with my own shoe line.  *Wink, wink*
